Donor Technician/Phlebotomist

As a team, we collect blood donations, and also offer cord blood banking and bone marrow registration and donations, serving the community's transfusion medicine needs.

Description: The Donor Technician/Phlebotomist is responsible for carrying out assigned activities related to donor eligibility, donor care, and blood collection.

Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Previous employment as a phlebotomist, hospital experience or background in a health related field is preferred, e.g., Phlebotomy Certification & Valid Driver's license Required. Fluent in English.

Hours: Fluctuating schedule during all hours of operation including evenings & weekends.

Components Technician

Description: Performs assignments involved in the preparation, modification and labeling of blood components and ensures adequate inventory of blood components. Responsible for production of blood components; red cells, leukocyte reduced red cells, FFP, cryoprecipitate. This position adheres to OSHA Standards, Standard Operational Procedures and other related procedures.

Requirements: Associates Degree in Science or technical lab certification, i.e MLT. One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be extremely detail oriented and have excellent command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills.

CDL Driver

Description: We currently have an opening for a CDL Driver required to drive blood mobiles/box trucks to transport, load and unload equipment and supplies to/from off-site blood drives, transport staff and make blood deliveries on weekdays, weeknights/weekends as needed. Other duties, as assigned.

Requirements: CDL - Class B license with airbrake endorsement required.1+ years experience using CDL B license. High School Diploma required. Associate's degree preferred. Excellent customer service skills. Good verbal communication and telephone skills. Knowledge of Northern NJ and surrounding areas. Must be able to lift 75 lbs. Must have a clean/valid license.

RN Supervisor - Clinical Services

Description: The Supervisor is responsible for the successful functioning of a given blood collection site including responsibility and accountability for all activities, staff performance, donor, and donor group satisfaction and safety at the site.

Requirements: Registered nurse with a current New Jersey license. Minimum of one year supervisory or management experience preferred. Fluent in English.

Delivery Driver

Description: We currently have an opening for a Delivery Driver who would be required to drive, load and unload equipment and supplies to/from off-site blood drives, transport staff and make blood deliveries on weekdays, weeknights/weekends as needed. Other duties, as assigned.
